Africa is a fabulous place if you are looking for raw nature exploration. Tanzania and Kenya, Tanzania and Kenya are home to two of Africa’s most iconic (and joined) game parks, the Serengeti and Masai Mara. There is nothing that passes these parks in vastness, game concentrations and, of course, if you time it right, the legendary Great Migration. Speak to one of our ABS consultants to find out when’s the best time to try and catch it. The most amazing thing about a Tanzania/Kenya safari is that they generally also include other wonderful, lesser-known parks, like Tarangire and Amboseli, with its views of Kilimanjaro. Try and fit in a day or two on the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria.
Kenya safari advice : Preparing for a vacation in Kenya: When to visit the beautiful African country: Being a neighbor to Tanzania, the climate is identical. It is best to visit Kenya during June-September or January-February, during their dry seasons. How to get to Kenya: Kenya has two international airports, served by many major airlines (such as KLM, Air France, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines etc.) – Mombassa (on the coast) and Nairobi (the capital). Mombassa is a better option, as there are numerous charter flights from Western Europe. As expected, we do not have direct flights, but there are many variants from Milan, Rome, Istanbul and London (and until then you get a low cost flight).
How to pay: In principle, tourist services such as access to national parks and accommodation in luxury hotels are paid in international circulation currencies: dollars (Kenya and Tanzania) and euros (Madagascar and Cape Verde). Apart from the touristic structures, it is preferable to use the national currency, except for Cape Verde, where, if you have the euro, you will do without problems. You can find ATMs in all major cities. You won’t be able to use the card in many places. Communications / Internet access: the most cost-effective way to communicate with your home, but also to share with your friends on Facebook your experience is to purchase a local SIM.
We don’t stop there either, as we also offer safari expeditions across Uganda and Rwanda. Known for their forest and savannah, you can trek through Uganda’s Bwindi forest, spotting the illusive mountain gorilla amongst their natural habitat. Alongside the gorilla’s is their fellow primate, colobus and golden monkeys who can be followed through Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest National Park. No matter whether you’re embarking on a trip for two, romantic getaway or bringing the whole family along, our safari’s welcome everyone. Choose your desired destination and start planning the safari of your dreams. See additional info at this website.
